PRIMARY DETAIL

  • From $143,467 to $168,831 gross per annum (HEW Level 10), plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • Full time, 2 year fixed term contract. Based at Wallumattagal campus, North Ryde.
  • Collaborative and supportive team. Hybrid working arrangements available.
THE ROLE
The new recruit in this role will lead, manage and execute the delivery of the digital elements of the Macquarie Advantage Education Strategy ensuring meaningful, scalable digital improvements for students across the learning experience.
Working on behalf of the executive sponsor, the Digital Transition Lead is pivotal in aligning policy, process, governance, and operational methods to support digital transformations working with IT program and project leads. The position will coordinate efforts across four Faculties, working with the Pro Vice-Chancellor Education and the Dean of Students, to ensure that the University's strategic education and student experience objectives are met in a cohesive and effective manner. The Digital Transition Lead will lead delivery of the digital elements of the Macquarie Advantage education strategy and support the outcomes of our digital transformation ambitions, ensuring meaningful, scalable improvements for our students across the learning experience and service experience.
ABOUT YOU
The Digital Transition Lead will provide high level collaboration, relationship management and project management capabilities and will have experience leading complex technology based program delivery encompassing multiple project teams. The successful applicant will have advanced negotiation and influencing skills and a proven track record of program/project delivery and successful, impactful outcomes.
Applicants should provide an outline of their experience in capabilities against the following selection criteria:
Relevant Degree and Post Graduate qualifications (or equivalent);
Experience leading large, complex technology based programs of work;
Exceptional project management skills and capability to manage multiple intricate work streams with key interdependencies;
Experience of Service Design, Customer Experience (CX) or Human Centred Design;
Relevant change management expertise;
Proficiency in program delivery oversight, including leading discussions at senior committee and board level;
Comprehensive understanding of the Higher Education context.
