About the role
The Digital Workplace Consultant will be responsible for designing, building and executing the program of work associate with the digital uplift project.
Location: This role is based in Melbourne; however, we will consider other location for the right candidate.
In this role you will:
- Driving business change through consistent, meaningful and timely engagement with employees and leaders using the appropriate channels and forums.
- Develop and execute SharePoint Digital Uplift Change Plan and Communications & Engagement Plans.
- Embed foundation SharePoint practices including reviewing existing information management guidelines and governance models related to SharePoint / MS Teams and bringing them to life for each team at EA.
- Designing a repeatable timeboxed approach for engaging each of EA’s business teams and go through a process of discovery, remediation and capability building related to effective collaboration, document management, safe information sharing and data governance on the SharePoint / MS Teams platform.
- Listening and collaborating with each business area to move them beyond their current work practices to a new way of working in SharePoint and MS Teams.
- Demonstrating progress and identifying areas of prioritisation through establishing a means to track and monitor employee and team’s digital capability using SharePoint / MS Teams.
- Collaborating with the SharePoint Consultant to establish an approachable, responsive central SharePoint advisory service for EA employees that is designed to build employee capability and confidence to work autonomously rather than repeatedly seek external help.
- Design and establish SharePoint training model, including channels for employee upskilling, support and specialist assistance.
- Support and promote EA’s Digital Literacy program (a structured set of learning modules for employees to build their own data handling capability).
Here is what we are looking for:
- You have extensive experience in business improvement or information management roles.
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications related to Information Management, Change Management or Business Improvement.
- You are an experienced and enthusiastic communicator at all levels, able to articulate the reason and narrative describing WHY employees need to change their work practices, and what it means to the individual, the team, the organisation, and external stakeholders.
- You have previously designed and led a structured and repeatable approach for transforming and sustaining work practices across an organisation.
- You have designed and embedded roles and responsibilities for employees and leaders to sustain effective information governance in SharePoint / Teams across an organisation.
- Your deep understanding of the principles of information management are applied to addressing team filing and document management issues, as well as embedding good work practices using SharePoint and MS Teams.
- You can apply previous experience on coaching and enabling people to move beyond current work practices to embrace new ways of working, and behaviours.
- You are an energetic change agent and leader that challenges employees to see beyond their immediate work context to understanding each person’s role in making the organisation an easier place to collaborate.
- Your analytical capabilities allow you to identify the root cause of information management challenges, and design a sustainable, adaptable information architecture in SharePoint and MS Teams.
- Any experience establishing a link between employee technical capability or training and systems access is desirable.
