THE OPPORTUNITY
Our innovative VELYS Robotics team have an opening for a Digital Surgery Technical Specialist. This unique position is central to our Depuy Synthes business in NSW and plays a pivotal role in further strengthening partnership with external stakeholders. As a key player in our organization, you'll build trusted partnerships with hospitals, surgeons and surgical teams, guide and educate on VELYS and problem solve as and when required. Whether you have experience in a similar role within medical devices, a nursing background, exercise physiology, athletics, pharmaceutical sales or you have an engineering background, this role offers the chance to make a significant impact and shape the territory's future in a fast growing and digitally focused space.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support to the sales team and our clinical customers with highly technical data and product expertise within robotics and medical space.
Assist and guide theatre staff including surgeons and nursing staff in the correct and safe use of DePuy Synthes Joints VELYS Robotics Assisted solutions and additional products
- Provide training & education to health care professionals.
- Assist with the logistical requirements of the business
- Build and develop strong relationships with customers, external and internal.
- Champion the team, the culture, and the brand.
- Tertiary qualification in a health-related field with knowledge of the anatomy and physiology.
- Proactive problem-solving and effective communication skills.
- Aptitude for understanding technical devices and technology.
- Comfortable working in a team environment, but also be extremely self-motivated when working alone.
- Ability to perform under pressure in an operating theatre environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational and customer relation skills.
