Form of workCapalaba Kids Early Learning Centre is an established Reggio Emilia inspired centre in the heart of Capalaba, which has been rated as EXCEEDING the National Quality Standards. This beautiful double centre is licensed for 150 places a day. Our ten studios cater for children aged six weeks to six years, across two beautiful centres.
At Kids Early Learning Centres, we offer wholesome, nutritious meals for the children. We treasure mealtimes and the experience of food, for bringing us together. At Capalaba Kids ELC, we are seeking an Educator with a passion for food and nutrition as well as a high level of food allergy/dietary awareness. The successful applicant will have ongoing support from an experienced management team including an onsite Centre Manager, Assistant Centre Manager, Educational Leader and a Leadership & Business Manager. This is of course coupled with ample Professional Development opportunities to ensure quality implementation of the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
The successful applicant for this role will:
- Possess a genuine desire and commitment towards childrens nutrition
- MUST hold a Diploma or Certificate III in Children's Services
- Creating an inviting environment for children to enjoy meals and socialise with their peers
- Providing learning opportunities for children such as contributing to our Centre Vegetable/Herb Garden, exploring our senses around different foods, and providing cooking experiences
- Create open interactions and experiences with children surrounding food and nutrition
- Working in conjunction with the Centre Chef ensuring meals are served on time and cater to the needs and requirements of the children
- Ensuring all Children’s Dietary and Allergy requirements are met
- Ensuring a high level of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards are maintained
- Completing necessary Food Safety documentation
