We are seeking a passionate Diploma and Certificate III Educators, who are looking to join our amazing team at Grow Early Education Darling Heights!
The successful candidates will be actively engaged in educating and caring for children under five years of age, and effectively communicating and developing relationships with children, families and Educators. We are seeking Educators who have a strong passion for the Early Childhood industry, and who are looking to be part of a team where your voice is heard, input is encouraged, and commitment is rewarded.
About your new role:
- Your passion and enthusiasm will see you assist in leading a classroom by effectively engaging with children, families, Educators, and the wider community.
- You will implement the educational program and experiences to meet the individual needs of our children.
- You will have a strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
- You will work at all times in compliance with Government regulations and centre policies and procedures to meet our high-quality standards.
- You will have confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families.
- You will have the ability to contribute to the documentation of the children's skills and interests, and include a clear cycle of reflective practice.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Certificate III, Diploma or higher qualification in Children’s Services as approved by ACECQA.
- Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.
- Current Employment Working with Children Check.
- Experience in an early childhood setting.
- A sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF.
- Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
For Lead/Diploma Qualified Educators:
- All of the above requirements.
- Prior experience and confidence with leadership in a classroom setting.
- Prior experience and confidence in writing educational programs.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to confidently guide and mentor your peers.
- Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families.
- Ability to implement stimulating programs, and develop a curriculum based on the children's interests and the EYLF.
- Ability to observe and record children’s learning and contribute to their educational portfolios.
