RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fostering positive and open communication with children on an ongoing basis
- Creating a stimulating, positive, and developmentally appropriate environment
- Conducting observation and evaluation of children's development
- Providing physical care, assisting children in daily routines and meal times
- Responding to the emotional needs of the children
- Maintaining up-to-date records for each child
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor trained in Early Childhood Education with prior experience
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First-Aid Certificate, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training
- Excellent knowledge and experience of EYLF and NQF
- Competent in all areas of childcare compliance, legislation, and WH&S
- High level of professionalism and communication with families and co-workers
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Passion, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to high-quality care
