About the business

Hearts and Minds Early Learning Baldivis is a new centre offering state of the art facilities and resources. We provide warm, inviting indoor spaces and exciting outdoor nature play areas.  The service features an outstanding quality kitchen and dining area where families and children can gather and share experiences, as well as dedicated art and craft studios for every age range.

Conveniently located across the road from Makybe Rise Primary School and in the heart of Baldivis Village Centre, Hearts & Minds Early Learning provides childcare services at the heart of the community in Baldivis.  

We strive to offer local families a place of friendship and inspired learning, where children are supported and encouraged to share their experiences and ideas.  We believe that the best education and care service starts with creating a calm, friendly and inviting environment where all families feel welcome.

About the role

We are looking for engaged & enthusiastic Early Learning educators for our Baldivis service. 

  You will: 

  • Possess a genuine desire to care for and develop children aged 0-5 years.
  • Have completed, or be willing to complete a Working With Children Check
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Previous experience in delivering high quality education and care ( long day setting preferable).
  • Work closely with the curriculum leader to implement educational programs that demonstrate a superior understanding of the NQF &EYLF .
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to develop warm and respectful relationships with children and families
  • Computer literacy as we provide electronic programming and portfolios.

Skills and experience

  • A commitment to delivering high quality care and NQF indicators
  • Ability to be innovative, creative and engaging
  • First Aid Certificate and Valid Working with Children Check
  • Help plan and implement the program for the class in accordance with the policies,
  • Understand the regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, with focus to provide an excellent level of education and care to the children at the centre-based service.
