Discover and Learn Academy is a family owned and operated childcare and due to the increase in our occupancy, we are looking for experienced, passionate and enthusiastic educators to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will need to have a solid childcare background but also have strong leadership skills. You will be involved with programming and daily routines as well as setting up learning experiences for children.
Qualifications & experience
- Previous experience in the childcare industry is ideal.
- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education/ Working towards ECT
- Have the relevant First Aid Certificate (HLTAID004)
- Hold a valid Working with Children’s Check
- A sound understanding of the NQF
- Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and My Time Our Place (MTOP) preferably.
- Passionate and Self motivated
- Excellent communication, leadership and management skills
- Highly organised and ability to multitask

- Actively Supervisor Children
- Liaise with parents and families
- Run educational activities
- Adhere to Centre policies and procedures
- Complete educational programming
