We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic educators to join an experienced team in a welcoming and small council operated long day care centre that provides quality Education and Care in a nurturing and supportive environment for children aged up to 6 years.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or relevant discipline
- Hold NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Early Childhood Teacher accreditation
- Current First Aid Certificate (compulsory to have and maintain)
- Current Accredited Emergency Asthma Management Training (compulsory to have and maintain)
- Current Accredited Anaphylaxis Management Training (compulsory to have and maintain)
- Develop and implement programs which meet the developmental, cultural and individual needs of all children attending the Centre.
- Be actively involved with children as individuals and as a group, assisting them to cope with daily routines and to develop their basic skills.
- Uphold the regulations as determined by the relevant State and Federal Departments.
- Be involved with the National Quality Standard (NQS) process
Hours
Based on a 35 hour week with actual days and times being worked in accordance with facility roster, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines. The roster covers a span of hours from 6.30am to 6.00pm.
