They will need to address the following:

Essential Criteria:

• Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
• Relevant clinical and education post registration qualifications
• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent meeting ASQA requirements
• Demonstrated leadership, excellent oral & written communication skills, teamwork skills  and a passion for education
• Exceptional organisational, problem solving and time management skills
• High level of computer literacy
• Ability to engage, lead, mentor and encourage students in a classroom and create a welcoming classroom environment
• Ability to manage student matters in academic and non-academic issues
• Demonstrated classroom teaching experience -  including simulation labs
• Knowledge of best practice within nurse education, including legislative and regulatory requirements
• Experience in and/or understanding of mental health nursing would be preferable
• Familiar with current nursing practice – within last 2  years
• Preferably with experience in using simulation as a teaching and learning method

This position is available for a start ASAP. Part Time, Full Time and Casual positions are available.
