Starbright early learning, located in Osborne Park is a Reggio Emila inspired early learning centre. The centre Manager/Owner is devoted to providing high quality care for all children and building lasting relationships with Starbright families and the dedicated and passionate team of educators at Starbright share that philosophy. The centre has a Toddler Room, Pre Kindy and Kindy Room with 3 spacious outdoor play spaces all set up to explore children's individual interests and to create a welcoming and relaxing environment for all.
You will need;
- Diploma Qualification / Cert III
- WWCC
- Flexibility on work hours (both open and close shifts will be required)
- Understanding of the NQS and EYLF
- Passion for creating engaging play spaces and setting up intriguing experiences based on the children's interests
- Strong written and verbal English skills to be able to confidently document, contribute to the Weekly Curriculum reports and cycles of planning.
- Willingness to further your knowledge on areas of Early Learning that interest you through PD's, online webinars and research

What your day could include;
- Building lasting and meaningful relationships with families so they feel informed and sure their children are receiving the best education and care in the community.
- Planning and setting up experiences designed to develop children's individual skills
- Scaffolding children's learning throughout the day using open ended questions
- Inviting investigative conversations with the children to gauge their understanding and knowledge on certain topics and researching answers together
- Critically Reflecting on your day and the children's interactions in our daily reflection diary
- Promoting Safe Risky play opportunities both inside and outside
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for all children and educators
- Embracing nature and learning more about our natural world from the children around you.
- Using photos and videos to document snapshots of learning as they occur. Realistic documentation expectations (educators are not expected to send photos daily or communicate with families using software technology)
