KU Sutherland Preschool, located in the heart of Sutherland along Old Princes Highway has free onsite parking as well as being conveniently located by the train station.
This service provides a supportive, welcoming and nurturing space where each child is immersed in a rich tapestry of educationally interactive experiences – a space where children are supported to be their own, unique selves, growing and developing a sense of belonging and empowerment.
Rated as exceeding under the NQS, KU Sutherland also has a special interest in sustainability and creating natural environments.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced, motivated, inspiring Diploma Qualified educator to work 8am-4pm Monday-Friday on a permanent basis. you will accrue a monthly rostered day off and have access to an abundance of free professional learning.
It would be very beneficial if you had experience of implementing nature play, sustainable practices and environmental awareness issues in Early Childhood Education.

Of course, you will need:
- Australian working rights
- A current Working with Children Check
- An ACECQA recognised Diploma
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
- Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
