The KU Permanent Relief Team
Our KU Permanent Relief Team works across several services to cover leave taken by permanent staff, playing a pivotal role in supporting our services in their success. The Permanent Relief Team is a close-knit network of early childhood education professionals who are passionate about teaching and caring for children.
The Role
We are looking for a Diploma qualified educator to join our dynamic permanent relief team. You will be allocated to work at the services listed below:
KU Georges Hall
KU Heathcote
KU Karingal
KU Milperra
KU Padstow
KU Playford Park (Padstow, 2211)
KU Revesby
KU Kogarah
KU Sutherland
KU Yagoona

The ideal applicant is a team player with innovative programming abilities and current knowledge of the role of Responsible Person.
You will work Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day , accruing a Monthly Rostered Day Off (RDO) additionally you will receive a travel allowance. You must hold a driver license and have access to a car.
In addition, you will have:
A recognised Diploma level of qualification in Children’s Services or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA).
Current Working with Children Check.
A driver's license and access to a car, as this position will require you to travel to different services
Work rights to enable you to work in Australia.
Current knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children.
A current First Aid certificate with separate Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training.
Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) and how they apply in your state
Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
Professional level of written and verbal communication skills
