The opportunityAn exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced, qualified and passionate Lead Educator to join our Bungalow in Berowra.
As a Room Leader you will be responsible for providing guidance and mentoring a team of educators to deliver our Curriculum, oversee the planning and programming for the room, creating inspiring and exciting learning environments, build lasting relationships with the children, families, and educators.
The Role
Motivate and lead a team of educators in the Toddler room, 2-3 years
4 Days per week - 38 Hours
Develop a lifelong love of learning through child-led enquiries, connections to our local primary school, and positive experiences within our community. Design, implement and evaluate educational programs for our children, allowing for the unique and individual interests and strengths of each child. Support the centre to Meet/Exceed the National Quality Standards
About You
A Diploma Qualification or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification (or currently studying with 50% completion minimum). You must have at least 2 years experience in a similar leader role. A current Working with Children’s Check A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) A current First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training An updated child protection training

Skills & requirements
- Diploma of Children's Services (not negotiable)
- Has a minimum of 3 years experience in a Lead Educator role
- A current and valid Working with Children's Check
- A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Child Protection
- A current First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- A creative and cooperative team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to excellence in early childhood
