About the opportunity
Located in the heart of Hopetoun, our childcare service provides localised early learning in the community we know and love. We have a permanent part time opportunity to join our Early Learning team and help ensure we provide a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for children in our service.
As an Assistant Educator you will provide assistance to the Room Leaders and other Qualified Educators within the service to ensure practices and processes are consistent with regulatory compliance.
What's on offer
You’ll be joining a small friendly team, working in a well-resourced service and supporting your local community!
In addition to an hourly rate, leave loading and superannuation, you will have access to salary packaging benefits. Uniting also offers a 60% discount on the childcare subsidy gap fee when using an Uniting Early Learning service or centre and up to 10 weeks paid parental leave.
There is also the option to increase your annual leave entitlements through our purchased leave program.
About you
You will ideally have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or relevant experience in an Early Childhood services role.
You will also bring:
- Sound knowledge of the underlying principles of Early Childhood, gained through experience, education and / or training.
- Knowledge of the statutory requirements related to Early Childhood.
