About us

Village Early Education Bendigo East is a beautiful, recently built Long Day Care Centre. The center's built within the bones of the old New Market hotel and is filled with heritage and charm. Village Early Education Bendigo East caters for up to 99 children per day across five classrooms including a funded three and four year old kindergarten program. We have a large onsite kitchen with an amazing chef providing delicious and nutritious meals for all children. Our centre prides itself on community connections; embedding bush kinder and many other excursions into the educational program, as well as having dedicated practitioners facilitating Kelly Sports and Auslan program’s for all ages. We are looking for passionate Early Childhood Educators to join our growing team! Qualifications & experience

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
• Current Working with Children's Check
• Current First Aid, HLTAID021 - Provide First Aid in an education and care setting Current CPR, HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Village Education provides PAID further training upon employment commencement
• Have a sound knowledge of and experience wit implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safe Standards

Tasks & responsibilities

• Assisting with the implementation and delivery of the curriculum, programs, activities and experiences whilst working collaboratively with your team to maximise opportunities for children to develop their full potential
• Share your knowledge and provide direction and guidance to the Educators of a Certificate III level and students
• Engage with child, building on and maintaining positive and meaningful relationships. Village Education supports 'risky play' so HAVE FUN!
• Liaising with families to ensure their children's needs are met
• Ensuring all relevant records are accurately maintained
• Contribute to a child safe environment ensuring standards are met on a daily basis
