The
Direct Care Worker RoleThe Riverland Community Health Service provides quality, community-based health services across the Riverland of South Australia. The Riverland Community Health Service provides a variety of medical care, including but not limited to, Aboriginal health, cardiac rehabilitation, diabetic education and women's health.Working in Loxton, the
Direct Care Worker (Community) will assist in providing a direct client service to persons who are aged, frail or disabled who wish to remain living in their own home with some assistance.
About You- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adept at engaging with diverse individuals
- Ability to exercise discretion, maintain strict confidentiality, and meet deadlines effectively
Essential Criteria- Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position
- at least 560 hours of satisfactory in-service experience
- proven experience exercising own judgment and initiative in day to day execution of duties
- demonstrated experience in providing Direct Care services in a health related field, dealing with aged, frail or disabled people
