Direct Care Worker - Crestview Hostel (Multiple Opportunities)

• Salary: $1,084.10 - $1,095.80 per week (pro rata) - WHA4
• Multiple Permanent Part-Time positions available (part time hours to be negotiated), working over a 7 day roster 

The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) has moved to a Consumer Directed Care model for the provision of aged care, disability and support services. This allows consumers to maintain greater control over their lives by allowing them to make choices about the services they receive and who delivers those services. Consumers are encouraged to actively participate in identifying and setting goals, and to determine what level of involvement they want in managing their own care arrangements.

As the Direct Care Worker you will assist in providing a direct client service to residents of the Crestview Hostel Residential Care Home. Duties will include providing diversional therapy to individuals and/or groups in accordance with established programs and you will liaise with nursing staff, other health professionals and families to achieve the best quality of life for individual residents.

To be eligible to apply you must have completed AQF Certificate III in Aged Care.

As this is a part time vacancy with more than one position available, working hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.  In addition to the annual salary package we also offer salary sacrifice benefits, employer superannuation contributions and leave loading.
