Based in Melbourne, the primary focus of theDirect Sales Consultant is to acquire and retain residential & SME customers across the Powershop and Kogan Energy Brands.
The sales & retention activities will be via switcher/movers’ inbound calls, web
enquiries, emails, cross sell campaigns and bill messaging. This role requires a motivated team player who is driven to achieve monthly targets whilst offering a high level of customer service and adhering to compliance and regulatory requirements and processes.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- To acquire new customers via the Powershop and Kogan Energy brands;
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance processes and requirements;
- Provide a superior level of customer service;
- The ability to comfortably sell multiple products across two brands;
- Achieving monthly sales KPI’s, Quality Assurance and Compliance gates;
- Complete partial sign ups via outbound calls when required and or requested by the customer;
- Participate in segment specific campaigns and acquisitions as required; and
- The ability to sell confidently and compliantly to residential and SME customers.
What you'll bring
- Experience selling via the telephone;
- Demonstrated ability to work in a KPI driven environment successfully;
- Excellent communication skills, verbal & written;
- An understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment within the energy sector;
- A commitment to safety and a safe working environment;
- Excellent attention to detail skills;
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and meet time sensitive deadlines; and
- Great commitment to teamwork.
