About the role:
As Sales and Operations Coordinator, you will work alongside Managing Director to assist and manage the Sales and growth of the Direct to Source business.
To allow Managing Director and broader Sales Team to grow the business, this position will manage and administrate Sales and Operation tasks, daily. You will work as the main support to external stakeholders/contractors including but not limited to, Finance/Bookkeeper, IT and Graphic Designers.
This position will manage office operations and procedure, while also have ability to be a part of business growth, product research and creative development.
Role responsibility:
Sample Management:
- Management of samples stock levels in the office, including stocktake and replenishment requirements.
- Management of sample request to customers/resellers
- Keeping samples and office in order
Sales & Operations Management:
- Quoting, Invoicing, and price checking
- PO creation
- Maintaining production schedule
- Logistics / delivery management
- Problem solving with production / suppliers offshore, collaboratively with Managing Director
- Quality control process
- Management of B Corp Certification with B Corp consultant
- Actively managing payment schedules, weekly
- Ability to external (sub-contractors) partners i.e., Graphic designers, IT, Quality Control organisation
- Ability to liaise with EcoBlancs (DTS business) personnel on a weekly and/or needs basis.
Customer Acquisition
- Research and development of products
- Research and development of customers/opportunities
- Ability to creatively support proposal development.
Essential skills and attributes:
- Exceptional customer service and administrative experience to showcase communication, data entry, and multi-tasking.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Other software knowledge in PowerPoint, Adobe suite, Squarespace and Xero is highly regarded, however not paramount.
- Textiles and/or production background/interest is considered a bonus, however not necessary.
- Graphic design background/knowledge is considered advantageous.
- Attention to detail.
- Creative flare.
- Natural ability to work collaboratively and strong capability to work autonomously.
- Self-motivated with ability to prioritise daily workload.
- Superb client and personal management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to develop, work to and report on financial performance, with the view of sharing with Managing Director
