Direct Support position (Part time 32 hrs per fortnight is required for a NDIS Supported Living and community based support services in New Town Tas. Successful candidate will be committed to direct care roles and meeting the rostered needs of people we support. You must be able to work across the range of shifts- morning/day, afternoon, sleepover and weekend shifts and you may be required to support some community based participants.
We will consider an entry level Certificate 2 person who wants to join a small team in a fixed location working with a small group of NDIS participants in a community setting.
Please do not apply if you cannot do some week day mornings (0700 start) shifts across the fortnightly roster period.
You'll need:
To have or be eligible to obtain NDIS Endorsed Screening Check(RWVP)
Have or be able to obtain a National Police Check less than 12 months old
Qualifications in Disability or related Community Services Work,
Up to date COVID 19 and flu vaccinations, a current First Aid Certificate and current Medication Administration Competency (or the ability to undertake a Medication Competency course on commencement).
Full Australian drivers licence, access to a reliable and roadworthy vehicle.
Your right to work in Australia must be verifiable.
Use of computer, communication good literacy skills essential in this role.
To be able to provide assistance with manual handling tasks if required.
At least 1 verifiable referee from your current or most recent employer or Training Provider if re-entering workforce
