To learn more, visit .About the role:An exciting new job opportunity as the Director_Equipment and Automation, ANZ has arisen within in our ANZ commercial Equipment & Automation function. This role can be based in either Fawkner, Victoria, Australia or Hamilton, New Zealand, and reports to Vice President Digital Equipment and Automation APAC.It is intended that the successful candidate will be responsible for effectively leading the Equipment and Automation teams in Australia and New Zealand. In close collaboration with your manager, the commercial leaders, and other relevant functions, you will develop and execute the equipment, spare parts and services business strategy to achieve the financial objectives of SEE.As an integral part of the ANZ leadership team, you will be managing a team of people across a broad range of technical disciplines and will be focused on developing the people and capabilities of the team to enable SEE to meet current and future market and customer needs. In support of this objective, you will also meet regularly with key internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and industry partners to develop and maintain a complete understanding of our customers and markets.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Australia and New Zealand Equipment and Automation teams comprising of Systems and Integration Engineers, Technical Managers and Custom Engineering Manager.
• Joint ownership of the Equipment & Automation P&L with the commercial team.
• Develop and execute the strategy for achieving and growing revenue from equipment & automation, spare parts, and servicing.
• Develop and coach the team – ensure high commitment and adequate competency level through regular training, clear goal setting, monitoring of performance and consistent engagement with the team.
• Collaborate with and support the Commercial team to propose and promote the right Equipment and service solutions. Join customer meetings whenever necessary.
• Develop and implement a total systems & integration approach, collaborating with industry partners where needed, to enable SEE to deliver complete end-to-end packaging solutions.
• Successfully execute equipment projects from quotation to commissioning.
• Ensure compliance of the SEE Equipment and Automation offer to all relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Drive regional equipment & automation initiatives, e.g. refurbishment, alternatives, localization, upgrades etc.
• Act as the local interface for 3rd party equipment business partners / suppliers for any Equipment and engineering matters.
• Improve accuracy of equipment master data, sales funnel, forecast and reporting.

About the Person:

• Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or packaging industry.
• Demonstrated equipment experience preferably with packaging equipment & automation.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Proven communication and presentation skills.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Experienced or comfortable with working in large, complex matrix organization.
• Able to regularly travel both domestically and internationally for short periods of time.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• MBA preferred.
• Min. 5 years’ working experience.
• Full Australian / New Zealand driving licence.
