About the Role
Join our team as a Director Clinical Operations (DCO) Residential Aged Care on a full time ongoing basis, based at Kingston Centre (Cheltenham).
- A Senior Leadership role, pivotal for leading a once in a generation Aged Care reform
- Make a true difference improving the lives of older people
- An opportunity that does not come along very often - leading the commissioning of a purpose built, new Aged Care facility
This role is based at Kingston Centre, and must travel across the catchment to all Monash Health Aged Care Facilities.
About Us
The Aged Care Services program provides care for the older person across the continuum of home care to residential setting. As part of Victoria's largest public health service, we are industry leaders in innovation and quality. The DCO Residential Services is a key member of the Aged Care Services team, working alongside the DCO Aged Community, Aged Care Services Quality & Compliance Manager and reporting to the General Manager.
Monash Health offer specialist services in psychiatric geriatric and dementia care. The Aged Care Services team were recognised for their achievements in Prevention of Occupational Violence and Aggression as winners of Excellence in Aged Care Category at the 2023 Victoria Public Healthcare Awards.
About You
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- A passion for continuous innovation, to improve the care of the older person
- An experienced leader in health/Aged Care, with track record for shaping high performing teams
- Capability in complex stakeholder management and change management
Other requirements
- Australian divers licence
- NDIS Worker screen (to be completed upon successful appointment)
- Eligibility for Aged Care Key Personnel
- AHPRA registration
- Post graduation qualifications in management/leadership/gerontology desired
