Job Description

Our Business and Tax Advisory team supports clients managing their compliance and looking ahead to plan for their continued business success and growth. We are equipped to decisively deliver new ways of thinking, big-picture perspectives and acute insights that help clients make informed decisions. We are currently looking to recruit a senior-level Director based in Darwin.
Your Opportunity
  • Provide tax and accounting advice and solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients which includes family groups, trusts and partnerships, foreign subsidiaries, and mid-market companies.
  • Further develop your technical expertise working across services including tax and accounting compliance and business/Tax Advisory.
  • Play a key role across the full scope of client engagements including regular client contact and attending client presentations and meetings with senior leaders.
  • Be a part of the wider KPMG Enterprise group and gain exposure to working alongside our advisory business as we work to fulfil our clients needs
  • Work with a Personal Development Manager on your career growth and personal goals.
  • Grow as a mentor and Manager, leading team members, encouraging their continued professional development.

  • Experience in Tax, Accounting or Business Services
  • You will be able to demonstrate an ability to keep up to date and understand any changes to taxation law and accounting standards.
  • Advanced tax and accounting technical / systems capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills will be key as you develop relationships with key stakeholders among our clients.
  • A client centric approach and ability to understand your clients’ business.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualifications such as CA or CPA (or equivalent).
