The Role
This role is responsible for IFM's Project Portfolio and Change Management Frameworks and approach, and their application to IFM's the portfolio of strategic initiatives and enterprise projects. The candidate will create and ensure adoption of strategies that ensure transformation is targeted, efficient and enables adoption of the desired outcomes.
- Define and enable adoption of IFM's Strategic Project Delivery Framework as a key input for successful business transformation at IFM. Actively evolve IFM's methods, framework, and tools for managing successful change.
- Lead a team of project and change professionals within the Business Transformation team and their integration into across the transformation disciplines.
- Create and foster communities of project and change practitioners across IFM, in conjunction with key stakeholders within BT and other Business Units. Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across business units in order to drive effective assessment, management and communication of change impacts.
- Drive the application of the IFM Strategic Project Delivery Framework to key strategic and enterprise initiatives to help enable enhancing enterprise planning and prioritisation, understand change readiness, and the delivery of measurably successful change.
- Ensure efficient and accurate reporting on the enterprise project portfolio.
- Provide advice and expertise in project and Change Management including mentoring and coaching.
- Represent Global Operations on IFM committees, projects and external reviews.
- Attract and retain talent. Provide training, mentoring and coaching to the staff members in a pragmatic and collaborative style.
Your Background and Experience
- 10+ years' experience and knowledge of applying project and Change Management principles in Fund, Wealth, Asset Management and investment banking or in a consulting firm performing equivalent duties.
- Understanding of change and project management approaches in a commercial business environment.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and applying Change Management.
- Must be Tertiary qualified.
- Relevant training or certifications in Change Management methods (e.g., PROSCI or Kotter), project management (Prince2, PMBOK, Agile / Scrum certification) and process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, demonstrating the ability to develop and lead successful teams.
- Strong commercial acumen that facilitates the translation of a complex program into a clear change plan.
- Related experience and/or a working knowledge of developing a Change Management plan.
- The ability to work in complex multi-dimensional environments at various levels of the organisation.
- A successful career track record in running large transformational programs.
- Extensive experience within funds, wealth or asset management or experience working for a leading consulting firm.
- Experience in developing and delivering project and Change Management frameworks, supporting transition of services in a controlled way that minuses risks and disruption.
- Deep understanding of relevant legal and procurement documentation and concepts.
- Considerable experience in delivering programs using change and project methodologies (e.g. ADKAR or equivalent).
- Must understand business improvement methodologies (such as Lean, Six Sigma)
