About the roleThe Director – Finance and Operations is an executive leader within Healthy North Coast and provides strategic and operational leadership of the organisations finances, assets and Operations. The Director is the Chief Financial Officer for Healthy North Coast and also responsible for the organisation’s operations including facilities management, administration and work, health and safety.
About YouTo be successful in this role you will have:
- A relevant post graduate accountant qualification with current CPA/CA membership and 10 years senior management experience
- Extensive expertise in financial reporting; ensuring an organisation’s compliance with accounting and governance standards
- Demonstrated accountability of directing the development of effective systems; ensuring organisational resources are managed efficiently and with probity and ensuring regulatory frameworks are applied consistently
- Highly developed communication skills to convey complex information in a manner that is easily understood and tailored to a range of audiences
- Proven success in building, developing and maintaining strong strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, developing and implementing innovative projects and programs that are both responsive to local needs and enhance service and system integration
- Ability to champion organisational vision and strategy through the development and implementation of operational plans
- Strong leadership ability, including driving positive organisational culture, promoting innovation, leading change processes and supporting the development of team capabilities
- Experience with or knowledge of Not for Profit entities, primary health care and the current health reform agenda in Australia
- Knowledge of and commitment to Work Health and Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, Cultural Safety, and Continuous Improvement principles
