About the role:
The Director, Governance and Reporting will be responsible for leading MRPV’s governance arrangements and Reporting obligations while providing high level advice on governance principles.
As a member of the Business Strategy leadership team, the Director, Governance and Reporting will galvanise MRPV’s Business Strategy division and lead ministerial and parliamentary services, corporate reporting obligations as well as manage teams responsible for developing initiatives to streamline and modernise reporting systems.

- Developing and maintaining appropriate internal governance arrangements to support MRPV to deliver its corporate objectives.
- Leading in the coordination and preparation of papers and reports to Government, CEO, Director General and other governance committees including the coordination and discharge of actions.
- Overseeing MRPV’s Corporate reporting function, including coordinating monthly reports of operations and corporate reporting obligations to the Office of the Director General, DTP and wider government.
- Providing strategic and pragmatic advice and guidance on high level matters of Governance and Reporting in relation to major transport infrastructure delivery where required.
- Providing leadership to team-members within the Business Strategy division, fostering a culture of service delivery excellence, continuous learning and professional development.
This role is a 3-year fixed-term position, salary is commensurate with experience.
Based at 180 Lonsdale Street.
