About the role

The Director HRIS Program:

  • Is responsible for the successful implementation of an enterprise level Human Resources Information System, including the delivery of three strategically related projects – HRIS, Business Readiness and Change Management and Training.
  • Builds effective business partnerships for the HRIS program, negotiating strategic requirements, and managing relationships with stakeholders to achieve positive cultural and business results.
  • Develops and manages the operational components of the HRIS program budget efficiently and cost-effectively, ensuring resources are allocated to support business objectives.

About the Team

The Department of Health is implementing a modernised approach to delivering human resource (HR) services, one that is responsive to the needs of our workforce. Our goal is to enhance our ability to meet business needs through a new, people-centric model for HR service delivery. As part of this initiative, we are overhauling our HR systems and processes, including the introduction of a new HR Information System (HRIS).

The HRIS will play a crucial role in providing reliable business information and ensuring access to timely people-related information. The Human Resources Transformation Program team is actively collaborating with staff from across the Department of Health to implement this new model and transform our HR services. The rollout of the HRIS is a pivotal component of this program, aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our HR operations.

Appointment

The role is a Senior Executive office for a contract period of 5 years and offers an attractive remuneration package, which incorporates salary ranging from $173,328 to $199,175 p.a. plus 11% superannuation and private use of a fully maintained vehicle.
