At Westpac Private Wealth, we seek to provide unique and differentiated insights, expertise and investment opportunities for self-directed, high net worth, wholesale clients. Reporting to the Regional Director North, Global Investment Services (GIS) you will join a team of Investment Specialists with a focus on supporting and advising HNW clients on their investment preferences. As a Director you will partner and collaborate with our private banking team as well as engage with direct clients to add deep technical expertise and a positive client experience.
Global Investment Services (GIS) is a multi-asset, multi-currency investment offering catered towards our self-directed HNW investors with advice given on a 'General Advice' basis. If you enjoy leading discussions about markets across multi-asset class to HNW and UHNW clients, this is a role that will allow that passion to thrive.
Other day to day responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the regional financial performance of GIS in partnership with the Regional Director
- Driving strategic and tactical initiatives to achieve year on year growth
- Engaging stakeholders across the business to build conviction in the GIS value proposition and drive banker and client engagement
- Participating in all learning and development activities and implement education programs to uplift capability across the banker force to utilize full participation

What do I need?
To be successful you will have significant demonstrated frontline experience in financial markets, funds management, wealth management or investment market sales. You will also have a strong background in the HNW client segment either within Private Banking or Private Wealth.
A minimum of a Bachelor of Commerce, Finance, Business or a related discipline. Other industry studies such as CFA will be highly regarded. You will have knowledge and demonstrated implementation of compliance and risk management. Multiple language capacities will set you apart from the crowd.
