About the opportunity
The Director of Client provides the strategic direction, systems, processes, and frameworks that enable our team to deliver the best quality care to Home Instead clients.
This role includes reviewing and developing leading care management practices, the provision of clinical advice, monitoring and embedding legislative and governance requirements, using data to inform decision making and evolving practices that ensure Home Instead provides safe and high-quality care that meets the needs and preferences of the people under our care.

Key responsibilities
- Review, develop and embed frameworks, systems and processes that enable our CAREGivers and client management team to deliver the best quality care to Home Instead’s clients
- Ensure all client care is compliant and delivered in line with Aged Care legislation, the Aged Care Quality Standards, ISO standards, Quality Management System and Operations Manuals
- Review and evolve Home Instead’s service offer for Private, HCP, Ability Care and Brokerage client programs
- Oversee and manage the Consumer Advisory Body (CAB) and Quality Care Advisory Body
- Provide and maintain clinical oversight and advise on appropriate practices in line with approved care provisions
- Monitor, inform and educate key internal stakeholders regarding legislative changes and work to embed these required change within the business
- Analyse internal and external data and provide insights and action plans where required
- Develop relationships with external government bodies, industry associations and community groups
- Manage the Client Pillar P&L and demonstrate commercial acumen and critical thinking when making business decisions
- Drive business growth through developing a culture of KPI achievement
- Provide direction and support to the client team at National Office and wider business
About you
- Minimum qualification - Registered Nurse
- 7+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in developing and implementing a broad range of contemporary quality care strategies and practices that successfully support the strategic objectives of the business
- Able to critically analyse and distill large bodies of work and make appropriate recommendations
- Demonstrated experience in leading and coaching a team
- Able to be self-directed, collaborative, solutions focused and assertive.
