We have Private Bankers and Private Wealth Managers specialising in banking, lending strategic advice, investments and insurance located right across Australia.Our vision is to be the Private Bank successful Australians recommend.About the opportunityWe are seeking self-motivated and professional Private Bankers – based in any capital city – with proven lending experience and expert knowledge of high and ultra-high net worth customer needs.As a Director Private Bank in our Client Origination Team, you will:

• Guide customers and business partners throughout their lending journey, with experiences and insights that are essential to developing authentic long term relationships.
• Build new customer relationships and identify new business development opportunities by advocating for CBA and CBA products.
• Build your personal brand and network in the community to enhance your credibility.
• Determine suitable lending solutions with prospective homebuyers and submitting lending applications.
• Grow your business by building and maintaining external referral sources, and seeking external referrals from existing customers.
• Refer customers with more complex financial needs to specialists within the Group.
• Research the broader market, and economic and industry changes affecting customers and the Group.
• Share best practice, productivity ideas and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the Private Banking team by inspiring, developing and growing colleagues.

About youTo be successful in this role you will have:

• Recent experience in a similar role from within Private Banking, Premier Banking, Business Banking or similar
• Experience in residential and commercial lending, including complex lending structures
• A demonstrated ability to develop new networks and maintain effective relationships with high and ultra-high net worth clients
• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business or related field (desirable)
• RG146 (desirable)
