- Managing a small team of two Practice Leads for Aged Care & NDIS
As our new Director – Quality, Compliance and Clinical Governance, you will be responsible for actively leading the implementation of quality and compliance initiatives, supported by the Practice Lead for Community & Aged Care and the Practice Lead for NDIS. This team has a critical role in ensuring adherence to Aged Care Standards, Child Safe Policies and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) standards.
The key focus of the role of Director- Quality, Compliance and Clinical Governance will be to develop, implement and oversee processes to maintain high-quality care and compliance with regulatory requirements, and guiding the organisation to best practice.
In addition to creating organisational policies and procedures this role will ensure all staff members are training in Aged Care and NDIS standards and promote a culture of continuous improvement and compliance; perform regular audits and collaborate with internal stakeholders to address identified non- compliance issues.
About You
Successful candidates will bring to the role of Director- Quality, Compliance and Clinical Governance, strong leadership & stakeholder management combined with a hands-on approach. Other factors in your success will include:
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or Allied Health.
- Strong knowledge of ACQSC standards and relevant legislations.
- Experience and competence in undertaking root cause analysis investigations and complex report writing, auditing.
- Skill in analysing data and consumer trends, maintaining reporting systems.
- Experience leading best care practice and systems management.
- Capability to coach, influence, and drive change.
- Demonstrated understanding of quality improvement framework/s
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
