The core capability requirements for this role are: Lead and manage strategic policy development to support delivery of organisational strategic goals and business objectives, particularly in relation to child protection and sexual violence Lead high level research and critical analysis of complex submissions, reports and proposals; and provide comprehensive, timely and accurate advice to support decisions of the QPS Child Safety Director, Executive Leadership Team, Board of Management, the Minister, Cabinet and other key stakeholders Build, influence and sustain partnerships and networks with key internal and external stakeholders and negotiate outcomes to support the achievement of organisational objectives Represent the Service at a senior level as required, including liaising with other agencies on a range of current and future issues, particularly in relation to child protection and sexual violence Lead, develop and manage team members providing support and assistance, direction on work priorities and ensuring that the branch is able to leverage existing resources to deliver desired outcomes.
