What a Director- Solutions & Enablement does at Visa:
The individual will be responsible for development and enablement of key acceptance initiatives that expand acceptance, and drive adoption of digital payment solutions and preference of Visa. As an integral member of the Merchant Sales & Acquiring team, this individual brings strategic thinking and consultative development and enablement to expand acceptance, grow Visa usage, and partnering with clients to drive solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Execute Merchant Sales & Acquiring strategy for AUNZSP - drive the strategic agenda to increase Visa Merchant Sales Volume, grow new acceptance locations (especially in SME or key verticals) market share, data processing revenues and create acquirer, merchant and consumer preference.
- Drive positive merchant outcomes -communicate and articulate all aspects of Visa value propositions for merchants, actively promote participation on issues relevant to SMEs , consultatively identify and prioritize merchant and market needs and solutions that drive specific commercial metrics (e.g. business growth, Visa growth) and increase merchant satisfaction with Visa products/services.
- Support the expansion of Visa acceptance by matching Visa objectives and solutions to merchants business development plans, including: expansion into new growth sectors, SME segments or key verticals, non-card payments, adoption of digital payment's and new acceptance solutions.
- Program Management - develop, implement and ongoing management of interchange or pricing programs that help to grow new or SME acceptance locations.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
