The Director, Specialised Trade Sales role is critical to making this happen and will be leading the sales strategy and origination of Trade & Supply Chain product and solutions for our top tier customers within the Institutional Division.
The role will reside within the Specialised Trade Sales team covering all client segments, however with a focus on agribusiness and energy transition industries.
There will be a particular emphasis to originate asset backed lending and complex value chain structuring for existing and new clients.
The role will also have accountability for an existing set of high value clients ensuring delivery of insight, risk and transactional risk responsibilities and monitoring thereof.
There is a requirement for strong business acumen and deep experience in Borrowing Base and Supply Chain finance structuring. A flair for innovative thinking and problem solving is a demonstrative core competency.
You will be working closely with Senior Trade & Supply Chain sales originators nationally in a highly awarded and engaging team within ANZ's Transaction Banking business.
Some of the role accountabilities will include:
- Actively identify business opportunities for other geographies and customer segments and provide targeted referrals;
- Execution of strategic initiatives;
- Customer and industry research and Financial Analysis;
- Accurate monitoring of sales pipeline, review of financial performance, accuracy of data, follow up etc. Effective use of all required Bank customer reporting systems.
Schedule: Full-time, 40hrs/week

- Tertiary and/or Post Graduate Qualification in Business Administration or Financial Discipline;
- A curious mindset;
- Strong presentation and analytical skills;
- Strong organizational and planning skills;

- Stakeholder management /strategic interface with a dispersed geographic sales forces is required.
