As a seasoned project delivery executive, you will play a key role in establishing the new Portfolio Management function. You will establish the governance, planning, monitoring and delivery of the portfolio of programs and projects with the respective Networks domains.We are looking for someone with a continuous improvement mentality who can build a strong culture of agility, simplicity, and reliability. You will utilise your interpersonal skills given you will be partnering closely with the Networks Division leaders, Program Managers, Project Managers, and the broader Networks teams to help drive and shape the delivery roadmap and priorities.The day to day
- Portfolio leadership of all the Networks projects delivering for all market segments across Optus
- Build the frameworks to help the portfolio managers and project managers in effective start up, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of programs and projects
- Establish and provide governance, oversight and support for the Networks portfolio via assigned delivery resources, rather than purely managing the process
- Develop Portfolio Management tooling strategies, requirements and roadmap to continuously improve capability to support the delivery of the portfolio
- Provide strategic oversight to ensure programs and projects in the portfolio are delivered in compliance with the governance model and critical metrics, and work in conjunction with the Portfolio Management Office team to continuously refine and improve project governance and controls
- Support Networks divisions to achieve successful outcomes of the yearly planning programs, by monitoring and tracking the progress and schedules
- Provide reliable portfolio delivery advice to enable the realisation of business goals and strategies
- Identify any gaps in initiatives for each Division and understand what activities are planned to fill those gaps
- 3 days in the office, 2 days remote – with flexible hours to suit!
