About the role
The Director Support Officer is responsible for providing direct administrative support to relevant Directors and staff within the Department of Medicine in relation to HR and payroll administration work flows, co-ordination of diverse correspondence and record keeping, calendar management, minute taking, and meeting set ups, along with other relevant administrative tasks while maintaining confidentially and upholding the departments code of conduct; being the primary point of contact for the leadership team within this unit.
This role is required to contribute to the improvement of business processes and systems that enhance the function of the DSO role and clinical area.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- High level of knowledge and skills relevant to a Director Support Officer role including time management, well developed interpersonal, negotiation, problem solving, oral and written communication.
- Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to specific situations to meet organisational or task needs.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines and be flexible in a changing work environment.
- Ability to work autonomously, and cooperatively and effectively as part of an executive team.
- Ability in the use of Microsoft Office programs to an intermediate level and the ability to acquire knowledge of relevant software packages.
