As our highly valued Teacher Director with our C&K Coolangatta team, you’ll nurture an inclusive, collaborative and supportive team culture where everyone can belong, grow and thrive.
Welcome to C&K Coolangatta, where your child will feel safe, make friends and belong. We have an open natural learning environment where the children explore and investigate, and extend their learning. Our teachers and educators focus on nurturing your child's curiosity, building their resilience and developing their confidence - all through the joy of learning through play. Our program has close links with Coolangatta State School to ensure a smooth and successful transition into prep. Each week the children attend the school library and throughout the course of the year attend other functions so that they become familiar with the school environment and staff.
With energy, creativity and care, you’ll take a hands-on approach to teaching where you will lead a team of passionate people to deliver a quality educational program for children in our play-based learning environment. And as an approachable leader for families, children and your team, you’ll play an integral role in the overall operations and management of the centre to encourage and nurture children’s learning and development while building great relationships with our families and the wider community.
What you’ll bring
To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have:
A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification) or a Bachelor of Primary Teaching with an approved diploma-level qualification.
First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (within three months or willing to obtain these).
