We have been in the profit for purpose disability sector for almost 6 years and have just started our journey as a Not-for-Profit charity organisation. We are expanding our amazing disability services to include childcare and aged care – further providing plenty of opportunities for our amazing team.
Genovation is striving to be a leading organisation in providing care through family generations, from childcare through to aged care, while specialising in disability care.

You will initially be securing a position working with our participants with disabilities, before being able to explore opportunity for aged care and childcare in the new year.
LOCATION - Penrith and Blacktown LGA's
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in a 'disability' caring role - personal and/or professional
- Understanding of manual handling/hoisting
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- NSW Driver's License and vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check - or willingness to apply
- Covid 19 Vaccination
- Minimum Cert 3 Individual/Disability/Education Support - or willing to obtain
- Be dedicated and committed to long term employment
- Must present and maintain excellent personal hygiene and appearance
- High level of integrity, honesty, and resilience
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team including with participant's families
- Be able to work flexible hours between 7AM - 5PM, and possibily some weekends.
- High proficiency in verbal and written English
Desirable Criteria:
- Current First aid and CPR certificates
- Certificate in Disability supports, Individual Support, Child Care, Aged Care or Education Support.
- Nursing Certificate/qualifications
- Studying allied health qualifications
- Epilepsy training
- Knowledge and experience working with high complex care needs
- Healthcare/Peg feed certificate
- Bowel care training
- Medication administration training
- Autism specific training
- Knowledge of Makaton and Boardmaker
- Manual handling - hoisting
- Good IT skills
The role will commence on a casual basis, with the option of moving to part-time after a qualifying period.

Position Specifics
Participants are located in Penrith/Blacktown LGA’s, and some in Richmond.
Our services operate Monday to Sunday from 7am to 10pm.
Our participants range from mild to severe high complex care from ages 6y - 70y.
We have company vehicles which are all modified and easy for our carers to drive - no special license required.
We are a great team and value input from all staff. We work collaboratively to ensure both participants and staff receive a high level of care, support and assistance.
We pay above award (SCHADS) wages and this is negotiated based on level of experience and education.
