Their offering services children, adults, and seniors with various communication and swallowing needs. Support NDIS participants and partner with schools, hospitals, and aged care facilities to deliver comprehensive care. Tailored interventions and collaborations with individuals, carers, families, aides, nurses, and support workers to enhance therapy effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments via telehealth.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Monitor and document patients' progress toward therapy goals.
- Educate and train families and caregivers on techniques to support speech, language, and swallowing at home.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and support staff to provide comprehensive care.
- Stay current with the latest research, trends, and best practices in paediatric speech pathology and telehealth.
- Passionate about helping children with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. You excel at building strong relationships with clients and their families, even in a virtual setting.
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms to deliver effective therapy.
- Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal skills to convey information clearly and listen actively.
- Organised and Efficient to manage your caseload and documentation meticulously, ensuring a high standard of care.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in speech pathology.
- Qualifications in Speech Pathology and membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Current professional indemnity insurance.
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
- Previous telehealth experience is a plus, but not essential.
