About the role:
Your Way Support Services are currently looking for Disability Support Workers from Caboolture and surrounding suburbs. The ideal candidates will have experience with a plethora of different disabilities and the ability to be adaptable to challenging situations. Hours of work available are varied and across 7 days a week. At Your Way Support Services, we are committed to having our Members choose which support staff they wish to allow into their homes. The right candidate will need to hold a high regard for professionalism and quality care.
Tasks may include but not limited to:
- Personal Care and support for varied aspects of daily living
- Community Access and providing Domestic Assistance
- Manual Handling
- Completion of Paperwork in a timely manner
Essential Experience and Requirements:
- A genuine desire to provide quality care and enhance the lives of our members
- ‘Go-getter’ attitude, happy to go with the flow and do what is required
- Ability to multitask and keep a clean environment
- Current driver's license and a reliable full comprehensive insured car
- Current First Aid and CPR; Blue and Yellow Card.
- Cert III in Individual Support / Disability, or relative industry experience
- NDIS Commission Worker Orientation Module.
- Reliable smartphone with internet access.
- Reliable, responsible attitude towards work and able to commit to regular hours ongoing
- Flexibility for relief shifts if required
