About the role:
You can expect to undertake various duties including but not limited to, Personal Care (full training and buddy shifts provided), Manual Handling, Social Support, Transport, Meal Preparation, Domestic Assistance in Home and Record Keeping.
Applicants need to be aware that these positions involve shift work and may involve multiple shifts of varying durations throughout the day/night including sleepover shifts. Casual positions may lead to Part Time depending on availability and ongoing reliability.
Training Requirement: Successful Applicants will be required to complete Online and On the Job Training as well as attend MANDATORY face to face training the week starting Monday 22nd of July 2024

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or Yellow Card and a Working with Children Blue Card or be willing to obtain (Cootharinga will be able to assist if successful)
- A current QLD Drivers License (Minimum P1)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate or willing to obtain
- NDIS Worker Quality Orientation Module - Free to obtain (https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/)
