Disability Support Workers who are particularly enthusiastic about assisting with community access and have the availability to work flexible hours.

What We Need From You
- A positive, can-do attitude towards supporting and empowering the people we support to achieve their ambitions and goals in life
- Must be willing to support participants with self-care tasks within various settings, including their home, work, or community
- Willingness to continually learn and work as part of a team
- Sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be willing to use your own personal vehicle to support participants on social outings
- Experience with high needs care or willingness to complete training for high needs care for participants is a bonus
- Certificate III in Individual Support or willingness to complete is a must!
- Blue Card & NDIS Worker Clearance or willingness to obtain
- CPR & First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate
- Open availability to work flexible hours, including some unsociable hours as required
You Will Be Responsible For
- Strengthening the abilities of participants and building their capacity to achieve their goals
- Monitoring the progress of participant goals and recording the effectiveness of their support
- Providing direct support, supervision, and guidance to participants in all tasks necessary as outlined in their NDIS plan
- Supporting participants to enhance and develop specific goals identified in their NDIS plan
- Assisting with appointments, follow-up activities, plans, and social events
- Providing physical assistance and personal care as required
- Managing disability-related behaviour or complex care needs when necessary
- Commitment to engaging with services within the scope of participant positive behaviour support plans, individual behaviour protocols, and programs
- Providing intensive daily support to both young people and adults engaging with our services
- Completing detailed shift reports, progress reporting, incident reporting, and other data capturing requirements during shifts
- Meal planning and preparation
- Light cleaning and other domestic duties
