Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, and ready to provide high-quality care to our clients. Experience with Huntington's disease is a bonus, but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to clients in their daily activities.
- Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments and activities.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.
- Implement individualized care plans and monitor client progress.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients.
- Administer first aid and CPR when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support.
- Valid Worker Screening Check.
- Current Blue Card.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
