AddressWe are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team for participants in Brisbane, Logan, Redland City and Gold Coast regions.
As a Support Worker with Parcare Support Service, you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. You will work closely with clients and their families to provide personalized support that reflects their individual needs and preferences.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is passionate about helping others, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role may include:
Providing personal care support, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
Supporting clients with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and shopping
Assisting with community access and participation in social and recreational activities
Supporting clients with employment or educational goals, Maintaining accurate and timely records of client support plans and activities
To be considered for this position, you will need:
A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field (or willingness to obtain)
A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
NDIS Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Blue Card - Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
NDIS Workers Introduction Module
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
