Qualifications & experience
- First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Previous experience is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Personalised Support: Offer one-on-one support tailored to the specific needs and preferences of the young male, including tracheostomy care and active over-night sleepovers
Assist with Daily Activities: Help with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, and household chores, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Promote Independence: Encourage and support the development of independence skills while fostering a sense of empowerment and autonomy.
Maintain Confidentiality: Respect and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information, adhering to professional standards and regulations at all times.
Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with other Support Workers, healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to provide holistic care and support.
