The Role:
Unidex Healthcare is currently seeking experienced Support Workers and/or Enrolled Nurses to fill numerous roles throughout New South Wales (NSW). The responsibilities for these positions may vary based on the client's specific needs. Common duties associated with these roles include:
- Bowel Therapy: Enemas, Digital Stimulation, Peristeen
- Hoisting/Transfers
- Medication Administration
- Catheter Management
- Daily skin checks
- Pressure wound management
- Personal care: washing, drying, dressing, grooming
- Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning, meal preparation & feeding
- Assistance with daily health & rehab exercises
- Community access + rehab appointments
Buddy/training shifts will be provided, but suitable candidates are required to have specific skills and experiences.
Desired Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Experience with Spinal Cord Injuries, Brain Injuries, Mental Health conditions, or other high complex care participants
- Cert III / IV / Diploma or equivalent (desirable)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Working with Children's Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Australian Driver License
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- NDIS Effective Communication Module
