The Role:
We are currently recruiting for a 62 year old female participant from China who has a traumatic brain injury as a result of a motor vehicle accident. The participant does not speak English, therefore it is mandatory the Support Worker is able to speak Mandarin.
Commencement date: ASAP
This role will be on a casual on-going basis meaning you will be assigned set shifts reoccuring weekly.
Current shifts available:
AM shifts 6 am-12 pm Mon-Frid
PM shifts 12 pm-6 pm Mon-Wed
Pay rate: $38.75-$40 per hour
Duties:
- Meal Preperation assistance
- Community Access/Transport to activities
- Domestic Assistance
- Appointment attendance
Requirements:
- Fluent in Mandarin
- Cultural understanding of the Chinese community
- Support Worker Experience (preferrably with TBI)
- Own reliable transportation and valid drivers license
- Blue card
- Yellow card
- National Police Check
- First aid & CPR
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module & Support Effective Communication
