Role Description
This is an on-site role for a Disability Support Worker, located in Shepparton, VIC. The Disability Support Worker will be responsible for providing a range of in-home support services to people living with a disability. Day-to-day tasks will include personal care, household tasks, transport, medication assistance, and community access support.
Qualifications
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), or equivalent
Demonstrated experience providing in-home support services to people with a disability
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
A current driver's license and access to a reliable and roadworthy vehicle
A current Working with Children Check and NDIS Screening Check, or a willingness to obtain them
Experience working in the disability or community services sector is highly regarded, but not essential.
