Our houses offer our participants a place they can call home, whilst encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit their individual needs. Trust and respect in our interactions with each other are our ways of working. About the role

We are looking for Support workers to help who have industry experience, manual handling skills and the following attributes:  

• Experience in managing participants who require support with complex care and high physical needs. 
• You will work in Supported Disability Accommodation to support those with medical needs and manual handling requirement to live in an environment that maximises personal growth and independence.  
• Enable our participants to shape and improve their lives.  
• They create opportunities, are champions of connecting their abilities, and inspire partnerships of support that encourage every individual to realise the full potential. 
• Must be available between 9.30am -1.30pm for shifts 
• At least 1 year as a DSW in NDIS sector 
• Must have current CPR and First Aid and practice.

Mandatory requirement

• Certificate III in Disability, or Individual Support or equivalent 
• First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willing to obtain. 
• Current Driver’s License (mandatory).

Please note that the successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a National Disability Insurance Scheme NDIS Worker Screening check and a Working with Children Check.
